Our care oil combines the best properties of oil and wax: The oil component penetrates the wood, while the wax component hardens on the outside and additionally protects the wood from the outside. Ideal for the kitchen to prevent the absorption of odors and flavors. Solvent-free and certified food-safe.
Application: Shake the bottle well before use, then apply the oil evenly with a cloth or brush. Buff the wet oil within 60-90 minutes. Polish off excess oil with an absorbent cloth. The oil will be fully cured after 2-3 days; do not clean with water during this time.

Which wood is best for a cutting board?
For a cutting board, it's important that the material is resilient and durable, but not too hard, as otherwise the knives would dull too quickly. Glass, for example, is unsuitable for this. For this reason, we use hard, robust solid wood for the mill board. Another advantage is that it's easy to maintain and can even be sanded if necessary. There are small differences in our materials, which are described in the next question. However, we recommend choosing your mill board primarily based on your personal taste.
